2022 Wagoneer Power & Handling
The Wagoneer is unique in that it's not only luxurious but powerful, too! This is an SUV that feels equally well-equipped for the highways as it is the off-road trails. Under the hood of the 2022 Wagoneer, you'll find a potent 5.7-liter V8 engine boasting 392 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque. Not only that, but it also employs a 48-volt eTorque mild-hybrid system for added fuel efficiency. Rear-wheel drive comes standard with the Wagoneer, but 4-wheel drive is available on each of its two trim levels. When properly equipped, the Wagoneer has a best-in-class towing capacity of up to 10,000 pounds, and can also ford up to 24 inches of water. It comes with a few features that aid in its off-road prowess, such as Quadra-Lift Air Suspension, and the Selec-Terrain Traction Management System. There's even an available off-road group, which adds on chrome tow hooks, all-terrain tires, and more!
2022 Chevrolet Suburban Power & Handling
For the 2022 model year, the Chevrolet Suburban is bringing you six different trim levels, with various features that will differ depending on the trim level you choose. But your options don't end there! The Suburban also has three different engine options for its lineup, all of which mate to a 10-speed automatic transmission. For all trim levels excluding the High Country, the standard engine is a 5.3-liter V8 rated at 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. For the High country, Chevy offer's a 6.2-liter V8 which produces 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, which is also available for the Premier, Z71, and RST trims. Last but not least, there's also a diesel option, the 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-6 rated at 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. However, despite the wealth of engine options, the Suburban's capability does not match up to that of the Wagoneer, with a towing capacity that falls a bit short at 7,800 pounds, and little to show for in terms of off-road power.
2022 Wagoneer Features & Design
The Wagoneer has a sleek and modern design theme, with plenty of premium features to give all eight passengers the VIP treatment. The seats come with standard Nappa leather upholstery, available heating and ventilation, and the front seats are 12-way power-adjustable. You'll also find tri-zone automatic climate control to keep everyone comfortable, and the third row offers power-folding seats to easily access a greater rear storage capacity. The Wagoneer also features the all-new Uconnect 5 infotainment system with a 10.1-inch touchscreen, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone connectivity. There is also an available Front Passenger Display which provides the passenger's side with its own touchscreen system. The Wagoneer has a wealth of standard safety features, like adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and much more!
2022 Chevrolet Suburban Features & Design
As we mentioned above, the 2022 Chevrolet Suburban offers seating for up to 9 passengers across three rows. Its base trim level, the LS, offers a wide array of standard features that sets the foundation for the rest of the lineup. These include cloth upholstery, tri-zone climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and LED exterior lights. Many of the Wagoneer's standard features are not available for the Suburban until you move up the list of trim levels. Even the second trim, the LT, has a better offering which includes heated seats, a wireless smartphone charger, and a 9-speaker premium audio system from Bose. The High Country trim features perforated leather upholstery, as well as driver's seat memory settings, adaptive cruise control, and the available High Country Deluxe package.
