Details of the 2025 Ram 1500

As we mentioned above, the Ram 1500's powertrain lineup is revamped with two new available options. The renowned 305-horsepower 3.6L V6 engine remains standard equipment in the 2025 model year. However, Ram has introduced the all-new Hurricane 6 engine. The Hurricane engine is a twin-turbocharged 3.0L inline six-cylinder engine that puts out an impressive 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. By using two turbochargers on an engine with a smaller displacement, the Ram 1500 achieves 25 horsepower and 50 lb-ft of torque, more than the current generation's V8. While providing additional power, the Hurricane 6 engine runs more efficiently than the larger engines, as it has a smaller displacement and fewer cylinders. Meanwhile, the optional high-output Hurricane 6 engine provides even more excitement to the tune of 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque. No matter the engine choice, the Ram 1500 achieves optimal efficiency, performance, and overall drivability with the sturdy TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission. With more power and better fuel economy, what's not to love about the new Hurricane 6?

Taking the Ram 1500 back to the drawing board, the design team created the most stylish and functional version yet. The exterior is brought into the present day with an upgraded front fascia for a confident stance. The redesigned grille revamps the heroic stance that the Ram 1500 is recognized for while symbolizing the model's push into the future. The cab and bed design remains similar to the current Ram 1500's form, continuing its impressive functionality and best-in-class rear legroom within the crew cab models. Stepping inside, the designers pulled all the stops to create a modern and sophisticated appearance and feel. Using premium materials, textures, and colors, you'll find the 2025 Ram 1500 interior to be designed with both comfort and function in mind. The interior is upgraded throughout the lineup with certain design elements exclusive to an exact trim level. For example, the Big Horn's interior is upgraded with laser-etched trim accents on the dashboard, doors, and center console. These accents are accompanied by Gear Embossed seat insert accents with either a Black or Diesel Gray hue. Another great example of a trim-exclusive upgrade is the new Chevron decorative trim accents for the Laramie trim. The Laramie also gains Sea Salt Gray and Bison Brown interior color schemes, both of which are new for 2025.

For years, the Ram 1500 Limited trim has been considered a rolling executive office, offering a seemingly endless list of luxurious features. However, in 2025, that luxury is taken to new heights as the Tungsten trim (pictured above) makes its debut at the top of the Ram 1500 lineup. Taking luxury to the next level, the Ram 1500 Tungsten features Natura Plus leather upholstery with a quilted stitch pattern throughout the cabin. Meanwhile, the Tungsten's front seats are 24-way power-adjustable with memory settings, heated, ventilated, and massaging. The center cap of the rotary gear knob has a crystal effect, announcing the cabin's luxury aura. Technology takes center stage in the all-new Tungsten trim, with Ram's largest touchscreen ever. Spanning 14.5 inches, the touchscreen runs on Uconnect 5 with an array of modern in-vehicle technologies for unparalleled connectivity and convenience. Other technology features include the ultra-premium 23-speaker Klipsch sound system and two wireless charging pads side-by-side for simultaneous charging of two smartphones. While luxury reigns supreme for the 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten, functionality is far from forgotten. The Tungsten features a power release tailgate, allowing for easy access to the bed, and a unique premium LED taillight design on either side of the modernized 'RAM' emblem.
